Public transportation from NYC

Take NJ Transit train from Penn Station to Secaucus Transfer Station. Take the Bergen Line to Clifton Station ( see NJT Trip Planner, below). At Clifton walk under overpass to the first cross street,  go left one block to Mount Prospect Street, then  right one half block to NYMS’s freestanding building at right; enter from parking.

From NY Port Authority via bus on weekends the transit is ca 31 minutes on the bus, plus a bit of walking in Clifton. Take NJT Line 191 bus to Allwood – Bloomfield Circle, or stay on the bus as it proceeds toward Allwood Park & Ride. Ask the driver to let you off at Mt Prospect Ave which is the third stop past the Circle toward the Park & Ride, and ask the bus driver where to catch the return bus. If you miss the Mt Prospect stop, get off at Park & Ride, and walk back along Allwood  to Mt Prospect Ave. Walk north along Mt Prospect several blocks, crossing Van Houton, and on past Sargeant Ave to NYMS HQ midblock at left.

Driving

From George Washington Bridge:

Take Interstate Route 80 west to Exit 57A, Route 19 South. Take Route 19 to Broad Street and continue two lights to Van Houten Avenue. Turn Left. Go to second light, Mount Prospect Avenue, and turn left. One and a half blocks along Mt Prospect is NYMS’ headquarters, Building 66F, freestanding on the left side.

From Lincoln Tunnel:

Follow exit road to NJ Route 3 West. Continue to Bloomfield Avenue exit. At traffic light turn right gp past the shopping center to Allwood traffic Circle enter then take the Circle’s third exit West onto Allwood Road. Mount Prospect Avenue (a small street) is on the right, several blocks along. Turn right onto Mt. Prospect,  continue to traffic light (Van Houton), cross and continue one and a half blocks past Van Houton to NYMS’ freestanding two story headquarters on the left, Building 66F.

From north:

Take Garden state Parkway South to Route 46 Clifton Exit. On 46 Make second exit to Van Houton Ave. Continue to third light Mount Prospect Avenue and turn left. One and a half blocks along Mt Prospect is NYMS’ headquarters, Building 66F, freestanding on the left side.

From Route 46 coming from west:

Take Broad Street Exit in Clifton and follow From George Washington Bridge directions, above.

From route 46 coming from East:

Take Paulson Avenue Exit in Clifton and follow to Second light, Clifton Ave turn right. Go to next light, Colfax, turn left, go three blocks and turn right on Mount Prospect Ave. NYMS’ headquarters, freestanding Building 66F, is one half block along on the right.
