Most meetings are scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of the month, starting at 7:30 PM. Most meetings will take place in the American Museum of Natural History, 81st Street and Central Park West, Manhattan. Occasional meetings and most workshops, courses, and open houses will be held in the Montclair facility.
Mid-week meeting dates are
for regular meetings to be held at the
American Museum of Natural History or Evergreens in Montclair, NJ. These meetings begin at 7:30 p.m.
Please note that all but the mid-week meetings except in November take
place during the third week of the month, mostly on
a Wednesday. Details will be announced on the home page. These meetings are free and
open to everyone.
Weekend workshops for members only
will be held at
Evergreens, in Montclair, New Jersey. Anyone who is not a member is welcome
to attend by paying dues to join the Society and registration fees for the workshop. (To avoid overcrowding, some
workshops may require pre-registration on a first-come, first-served basis.)
If there is enough interest, more weekend workshops may be added. Please call
the Program Chair, Jean Portell (718-643-1222) if you wish to suggest a topic.
